My name is Lian Bakermans. I enjoy teaching painting classes and workshops in which I guide others in their journey of discovery through the world of watercolours. Whether you are a beginner picking up a brush for the firs ttime, or an experienced artist looking for a deeper understanding.

I enjoy painting people because each person is unique. With my watercolours, I capture human emotions, which makes each creation personal and real.

Nature in watercolour

I paint flowers for their beauty and symbolism. It brings me joy, peace and connects me with nature and myself.

Animals in watercolour

Be it pets or wildlife, I love capturing the character and energy of each animal.

Workshops

For several years now, I have been working self-employed in my studio in Riethoven, giving workshops and courses in drawing and painting by feel. This takes place in beautiful, atmospheric and quiet surroundings where we work in small groups.
